NH Chamber endorse Cravaack

by The Big E on April 2, 2012

The New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, endorsed Rep. Chip Cravaack (R-MN/NH) for reelection. Cravaack is one of the most vulnerable first-term Republicans. As a Tea Party Republican in a traditionally blue district, the conservative orgnizations have been lining up behind Cravaack.

“I appreciate their endorsement,” Cravaack said. “I have worked hard to create jobs and liberty and freedom.”

Many may view the endorsement of a New Hampshire group as counter productive as Cravaack has been criticized for moving to New Hampshire recently, but Cravaack was having none of it.

“I appreciate the support of any pro-business, lower taxes group,” Cravaack reiterated.

Jim Roche, President of the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire was unequivocal in his support of Cravaack:

We are proud to support New Hampshire’s newest son. We welcome him into the fold with open arms.

He fits the kind of politician we like here in the Granite State. He’s for liberty and freedom. He against the kinds of government intervention and intrusion we despise here.

And if Minnesota doesn’t like him, he’s perfectly welcome here!
