It is now leaking out that Sen. Amy Koch won’t be running for reelection because she had an affair with a Senate staffer. Rumors are swirling as to the identity of the staffer and the timeline of the relationship.
Koch may have hypocritically pushed for the Sanctity of Marriage amendment while having an affair outside of holy wedlock.
Minnesota Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch resigned her post Thursday after she was confronted by GOP Senate leaders about allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a Senate staffer, according to high level State Capitol sources.
Those sources confirmed that four Republican Senators held an emergency meeting with Koch Wednesday night, after multiple Senate staffers reported the possible improper conduct.
Apparently, gay marriage may have endangered yet another hetero’s marriage. Obviously, only time can tell if all those gay people wanting to get married caused Koch to have this affair.

Rachel Stassen-Berger reports that the staffer was a “direct report.” This limits the number of people to just a few.
Sen. Mike Parry (R-Waseca) is holding a press conference beginning right now. His campaign manager, Michael Brodkorb, was (still is?) a “direct report” at the MN GOP Senate Caucus.
Parry canceled his press conference.
Tom Scheck reports that Michael Brodkorb is no longer an employee of the MN Republican Senate Caucus.
